PREAMBLE

“Holy Cross School, Patelbagan, Sundernagar, Jamshedpur, East Singhbhum," is a Christian Minority Schoolfounded and managed by the members of the International Christian Women ReligiousCongregation known as The Sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross.This congregation was founded in Switzerland in the year 1856 by Theodosius Florentini OFM CAP and Mother Maria Theresa Scherer.The members of this Congregation work in almost all the Continents- America (North &South), Africa, Europe, and Asia.

VISION

Rooted in the charism of the congregation of Sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross, we envision a school of human and academic excellence, developing students to be persons of conscience, competence, and compassionate commitment, and contributing members for a better tomorrow at the local and global level.

MISSION

Our mission is to develop young men and women for others, who will understand, contribute, and succeed in life in a rapidly changing society, and make the world a better place by imbibing the Holy Cross- cultural traits of love, peace, loyalty, eco- friendliness, justice, fraternity, and respect for religious, moral and social values

GOALS

The Sisters started to extend their services in India in the year1894. Keeping the motto in mind they have established centers in more than 18 states in India up to now, responding to the invitations of different societies and organizations. Aim & Objectives

The school aims at developing the students in totality, to make him/her a perfect creation of God.Top priority is given to character building based on sound moral principles. Boys and Girls leaving the school will be characterized by a sense of responsibility and true development of their mind, andcharacter. They should show this by being actively concerned about national development in the true spirit of freedom, equality, justice, and peace. They should feel proud of the institution and must have distinguished character.
